Warning: Emails misusing the names of Derya Atasagun, Derya Kanli, Sevval Yaman and misusing the name and details of London Sol Limited (trading as Greymore)

Emails have been sent misusing the names of Derya Atasagun, Derya Kanli, Sevval Yaman and misusing the name and details of London Sol Limited in relation to a property transaction.
What is the scam?
The SRA has been advised that emails have been sent misusing the name and details of a genuine firm (see genuine details below) and the names of employees of the genuine firm (see below).
The emails request the recipient to confirm that they are ready to proceed with transferring the funds to proceed with a contract exchange and completion.
The SRA understands that whilst the email addresses showing in the emails appears to be similar to the genuine email addresses for the genuine firm's employees, it is understood that the email addresses have been 'spoofed'.
The emails were sent from the email addresses 'derya.kanli@greynore.com' and 'sevval.yaman@greynore.com' (with an erroneous spelling of 'greymore' in the domain name).
The emails also provide the addresses Greymore, Unit 3 Fountayne Business Centre, Broad Lane, Tottenham and N15 4AG, Vision Building, 4 Footscray Road, Eltham, SE9 2TW and a telephone number '0208 808 1205'.
Any business or transaction through the above contact details is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called London Sol Limited (trading as Greymore) (SRA ID 646978). The genuine firm uses the email domain @greymore.com. Its head office is Unit 3, Fountayne Business Centre, Broad Lane, Tottenham, N15 4AG and contact number is 020 8808 1285.
Their branch office (SRA ID 654749) address is Vision Building, 4 Footscray Road, Eltham, SE9 2TW and the genuine firm uses the email domain @thelondonsolicitors.co.uk.
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine solicitor called Derya Atasagun known as Derya Kanli (SRA ID 668892) who is employed at London Sol Limited.
Sevval Yaman is employed at London Sol Limited as a Paralegal.
The genuine firm of solicitors London Sol Limited and Derya Atasagun (known as, Derya Kanli) and Sevval Yaman have confirmed that they do not have any genuine connection to the emails referred to in the above alert.
What should I do?

If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (e.g. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.
